Hello, Clinton County!
There’s a new radio station in town, WIOH-LP. Let me tell you about it.
It’s local, non-commercial, public service oriented, low power 95.9 FM.
Yes, we do play music. Lots of music. We have a library of over 5000 titles.
Music from the 60’s to the ‘oughts. You might hear “Hotel California” (for the hundredth time!), but you’ll hear much, much more.
Did I mention non-commercial? We won’t be rolling commercials on you every other song.
We will not, and legally cannot have commercials, although businesses can underwrite for an on-air mention.
We are public service oriented, so you’ll be hearing interviews, community announcements, and other local programming.
And the public can support us directly. You can Donate to the PayPal link at the top of the page. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so all donations are tax deductible.
The LP in our call sign is ‘low power’, a special class of FCC regulated radio stations.
We cover Clinton County, with a little overlap into Greene, Warren, and Fayette.
We are at 95.9 on the FM band, and also streaming at our website wioh.org
